Diana SmithAgent and Customer Service Representative
Diana Smith started working for Meade Insurance part-time in 1983 doing their filing, mail, and other miscellaneous duties. In 1985 she changed to full time and got her insurance license. She started handling the insurance needs for all of the Custom Harvester accounts. In 1990 she moved to the Anderson Peck Agency with Ed Peck and continued to handle the insurance needs for all of the Customer Harvester accounts. During the time of handling the Harvester accounts she also attended all of their conventions and organized hospitality rooms.
In 1995 she moved out of Topeka and started working for Kidney Insurance Agency. She handled both personal and commercial lines and was the Office Manager and supervisor for two locations.
In 2001 she then started working for Mortgage Protection Insurance Services working only with banks in 19 states insurance their consumer loans that were not first mortgages. The owners of the business sold the company and the new owner moved the business out of state in 2010.
In 2010 she started working for Tozier Parkway Housh Jones/A G Insurance. She handled both personal and commercial lines, and some accounting. In 2017 the principal owners of Tozier Parkway Housh Jones retired so A G Insurance obtained their own contracts with companies and have been growing ever since. She now handles all renewals, the accounting, and has been named the Operations Manager for the Agency.
During this time, she also received her CISR designation in 1992. Graduated from Highland Community College in 1997 with an Associate’s degree in Business and in 1999 received her Bachelor’s degree from Friends University also in Business.
She has one son and grandson with another grandbaby due in 2018.
